Operation of Dispenser
Brief Introduction
The dispenser is a dual
dispenser with the purpose of dispensing fragrance(Mode 1) during the operation of
the steam room and disinfecting the steam room after use (Mode 2 and Mode 3).
The dispenser is
designed to be used with any WinSpa steam generator models. When installed and
connected, the dispenser will operate automatically with the operation of steam
generator.
Figure 1

When generator is switched
on, dispenser will dispense the fragrance into the tank of generator, so as the
water is made into steam, the steam incorporates the fragrance. This process
will repeat until the generator is turned off or steam bath session time
expires.
Before switching the
dispenser on make sure there is enough fragrance and disinfectant in the
container. It will take about 10 seconds for every 1 meter of pipeline for
aroma liquid to reach the pump.
Once the generator has
been turned off for a continuous period, the disinfecting side of the dispenser
will begin operation. Two minutes prior to the actual dispenser beginning
operation, a light installed above the door into the steam room will begin to
flash warning the dispenser is about to begin operation. First, the steam room
is sprayed with a disinfection mixture which is allowed to active for a few
minutes before it is washed off with a rinse of clean water.
Optional Feature
An optional extra available with any
installation of the dispenser is to have a heated air blower connected to the
steam room to dry the steam room after the disinfection process.

Installation and Connection
Installation
1.
Dispenser should be
installed level or inline with steam generator, at height convenient to be able
to service and fill bottles. Never install the dispenser upper or lower
than steam generator. Figure 3

2.
Fix dispenser to wall using
two screws. Screws to be fixed into wall at distance apart equal to the
slots in the back of the dispensing unit.
Figure

Hole Distance

Connection of
Fragrance Pump
A
small hole is provided at the side of WinSpa generator to allow the tube from
the fragrance pump to enter inside the steam generator. Open the top cover of WinSpa
steam generator and position the tube through the hole and connect to the
socket supplied in the pack. Connect the socket to fragrance inlet in
generator. See figure 5.
The
tube from fragrance pump to generator must be of heat resistance type, rated 1200C or higher insulated copper or plastic tubing.
Remove the plastic tube from the fragrance
bottle and using the syringe provided fill the plastic tube from the bottle
through to where the tube is connected to fragrance inlet. This will purge all
air from the pipeline to avoid a potential airlock forming. Once completed
reposition the tube into the bottle ensure the inlet of the hose is no more
than 10 mm from the bottom of the bottle.Figure 5

When aroma oil is changed, check that the
pipeline is not broken and is full of liquid. It is also recommended to wash
the fragrance container between changes, especially when using different
fragrances.
Use only fragrance meant
for steam generator use. Follow the instructions in the fragrance packing.
Disinfections Plumbing
All
plumbing has to be installed by a licensed qualified plumber. Plumbing should
be in accordance with national or local codes. Never run the disinfectant pump
dry!
Connect
the disinfections pipeline by:
Ⅰ. Install
tee piece into water supply line feeding the steam generator.
Ⅱ. Install
control valve followed by the solenoid valve (9).
Ⅲ. Connect tee piece (7)
using brass nipple (3) and to center outlet of tee fix the hose connection bush
(8). To the inline outlet of the tee connect brass nipple.
Spray Nozzle
Install in centre of the steam room ceiling.
Larger steam rooms require several sprinklers located to wash down all the
seating and wall areas.
Drill hole through steam room roof panel at position
center of the steam room.
1. Connect the spray nozzle
using S/S cover flange (2), brass nipple (3), S/S cover flange (2) and M+F
elbow (4).
2. Connect from the M+F elbow
to the tee piece with the hose connection bush (8)with copper tube.
Flexible tube can be used if preferred.
3. Insert the end of the
dispenser tube from the disinfecting pump into the bush. To connect just push
the tube into the fitting.
4. Repeat the purging process
as for the fragrance pump.
Figure 6
Power Wiring
All electrical connections must be performed by a licensed
qualified electrician. All wires from dispenser have been labeled:
a) Power supply: This cable can be
connected to power supply by separate power point fitted to wall at location of
dispenser or connected through power supply connection of steam generator.
b) Signal wire: This wire to be attached
to the signal wire which is pre-connected to the steam generator.
c) Alarm wire: This wire to be connected
to an alarm light supplied in the pack with dispenser unit.
d) Valve wire: This cable is to be
connected to the solenoid valve which operates the water supply to the spray
nozzle.
Warning Light
The light should
be installed outside the steam
room, just above the door. 2
minutes before disinfectant washing down starts, using the fluid in the
container, the warning light on above steam room door will flash and keep
flashing from beginning to the end of disinfection. The light will be switched
off automatically after steam room washing down finished.
Further Information
-
In public facilities it
is vital that Dispenser is installed out of reach of the general public, for
example in a well-ventilated, locked room or cupboard, so that no unauthorized
person can alter the switch, pour unsuitable liquids into the container etc.
-
When Disinfection is in
progress, the steam room door must be closed and nobody may remain in the steam
room.
-
The steam room floor
and floor drain must be cleaned regularly. Dispenser carries out washing down
and disinfection, and complements carefull manual cleaning to keep the steam
bath hygienic and fresh.
-
The disinfection side
of Steam Room Dispenser is designed to start only after the bath is finished so
that neither disinfection nor washing down can take place while the steam room
is in use. If steam generator is switched on again during the wait period of
disinfection, the disinfection will not start but fragrance dispensing starts
and repeat as preset.
-
WARNING! Liquids which are inflammable or damaging
to health must not be used.
-
NOTE! Some plastic floor and wall
materials may discolor on direct contact with certain disinfectants. First test
the disinfectant you intend to use on a separate piece of the floor or wall
material used in the steam room.
